Only the best for your skin

Healthy younger looking skin does mean investigating best practices.

There are plenty of creams and treatments to choose from, but developing a routine that emphasizes what goes both onto and into your body can go a long way to fantastic results for truly healthy younger looking skin.

HYDRATION

Did you know? If you're thirsty, you're already dehydrated

The Harvard School of Public Health says good hydration keeps the body functioning properly, lubricates joints, and regulates body temperature. The university also notes that good hydration helps you sleep better, think more clearly, and even puts you in a better mood.

If you are keen on prioritizing your health, you likely already know our skin is our largest organ. As with any other organ, what we consume feeds our body systems, but can also be detrimental. For example, proper hydration has a huge impact on the healthy functioning of our body while sugar ages us.

We recommend using this water intake calculator to give you a quick idea of what you specifically need per day given where you live and other factors:

The general recommendation is to drink half your body weight (in pounds) in ounces.

SUN EXPOSURE

Did you know? Having 5 or more sunburns doubles your risk for melanoma

According to the National Institute of Health over time UV damage can take a toll on your skin and its underlying connective tissue. As a result, your skin may develop more wrinkles and lines. Too much sun exposure can also raise your risk for skin cancer, the most common type of cancer in the United States.

Exposure to UV rays is a major risk factor to developing most skin cancers. Some people think about sun protection only when they spend a day at the lake, beach, or pool.  The American Cancer Society recommends when you are out in the sun, wear clothing to cover your skin.

That's where eclipse comes in!

Everything we make is UPF50 which is the equivalent of maximum sun protection.
